Lugano Stop: 2 hours
The day tour starts when you meet your English-speaking guide in central Milan. From there, a private air-conditioned coach will take you across the border to Switzerland through stunning scenery and your guide will be on hand to fill you in on the sights. Nestled at the foot of the Alps you’ll find Lugano, another lakeshore town. Also called “the Monte Carlo of Switzerland”, this Italian-speaking Swiss town is a playground for celebrities, athletes and entertainers, boasting luxury shopping and fine art, scenic views and a bustling city center. Visit the church of Santa Maria degli Angioli, where Bernardino Luini painted ‘Passion and Crucifixion’, regarded as Switzerland’s most significant Renaissance fresco. Head downtown to browse luxury goods and rich Swiss chocolate. Whatever you’re looking for, Lugano has something for you.
3
Bellagio Stop: 60 minutes
You’ll visit the stunning town of Bellagio, often called “the pearl of Lake Como”. Your guide can offer recommendations, but it’s up to you whether to go shopping, sample the local food or simply soak up the charming atmosphere.

Lake Como
The best way to experience Lake Como is by boat. A relaxing cruise will allow you to view this tranquil landscape from the water. As you float by, your guide will point out famous villas used as locations for Star Wars and James Bond movies along with the homes of international stars like George Clooney. You’ll also have plenty of time to take pictures or just take in the view with a refreshment from the onboard restaurant. Arriving back in Milan in time for dinner, you won’t believe you managed to see so much in one day, and without ever feeling rushed.

History of the City

Your morning starts with pickup from central Milan by air-conditioned coach. After the drive to Como, board a boat for a lake cruise. Take advantage of the time spent cruising the water by snapping photos of glamorous villas and listening to guide commentary about the Como area. Next, enjoy free time and lunch (at own expense) in Bellagio, a pretty waterfront town of stone staircases and cobbled lanes also known as “the pearl of Lake Como.” Afterward, reboard the coach for the journey across the Swiss border to Lugano, a picturesque small city on the northern shore of a glacial lake. Explore independently: choosing to browse Swiss chocolate and luxury goods shops, walk along the waterfront, or visit religious sites like the Chiesa di Santa Maria degli Angioli. Your day ends with drop-off at the original departure point in the late afternoon.

I cannot speak highly enough about our 3 week trip to this place and the services provided by this travel company. Everything was seamless. The private guides were interesting and knowledgable. We felt that they were more than just guides. It was like we had a friend in each city.

My fiance and I had never been to Europe, but wanted to plan a unique elopement trip to this place. We had no idea where to start, and turned to some internet research to find the services of this agency and eventually connect with the team at this travel agency. From the first email exchange, we knew that our travel consultant and her team would be our travel company.
